On March 4-7, the delegation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in special seminars and trainings organized by the Treasury of the World Bank in Washington, USA, and held meetings with representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
During the seminar, World Bank experts shared experience in effective management of international reserves, in particular, securities portfolio management, trade compliance control practice, risk management, and investment in securities.
Following the meetings, ways of expanding mutual cooperation were discussed with management of Reserve Advisory and Management Partnership (RAMP) program of the World Bank.
Further, meetings were held with the management of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and other structural units commemorating the custody account opening of the Central Bank and signing the Third Party Access Agreement for Securities Lending Transactions.
