At the Central bank final discussions were held on the results of the IMFʻs mission on enhancing practical skills of internal audit staff in implementation of risk-based auditing.
During the meeting it was noted that the efforts of the Central bank to introduce a risk management system and risk-based internal audit undertaken within the framework of IMFʻs technical support have been effective.
Parties also discussed plan of measures to be implemented on business process mapping, the identification and assessment of risks as well as updating the audit universe, which includes audit objects.
At the meeting, importance of the IMF mission recommendations was highlighted and both parties expressed their interest in continued cooperation in implementation of risk management system and risk-based internal audit.
